16 of the best singles players in Hawaii compete for one lone spot directly into the Main Draw! Most of the UH, HPU and BYU Men's teams will be entered. First round on Thursday afternoon, the Quarter-finals Friday night (Kaminski's Cafe will be open), semis Saturday noon and the Finals, Sunday noon.
Qualifying Tournament, January 22 and 23
Top players from around the world will compete for 4 spots into the Main Draw. These qualifiers will have world rankings and among them are future stars.
Main Draw, January 24-29
Matches will begin at 10am daily. Chair umpires, linespeople and ballhumans will be used for all matches. Tuesday through Friday we will have a feature match at 6:30pm.
Players are encouraged to stay at a hotel in Waikiki, but a few of the players may request private housing. Please let me know if you would like to host a player. This could be your chance to house perhaps the next Roger Federer. It would probably be for about a week.
